AOS provides educational meetings and webinars with global impact that are open to all otolaryngologists, subspecialty otologists and neurotologists, audiologists and related clinicians, trainees, students, and scientists.
American Otological Society Annual Meeting
The annual Spring Meeting is recognized as one of the most important otological educational forums world-wide with a significant international attendance. At the meeting, attendees participate in scientific sessions including panels, expert presentations, keynote speakers, didactic talks, poster presentations and interactions with industry and social events that stimulate new ideas, collaboration and collegiality that advance AOS’ mission.

Award of MeritThe AOS Award of Merit is the highest, most prestigious honor one can receive from the American Otological Society. Recipients are selected by the past, past President of the AOS Council and a group of 4 advisors. The AOS webinar “Sound Mind: Hearing Loss and Cognitive Health”, explores the link between hearing and brain function. Hosted by Nancy M. Young, MD, and Sujana S. Under the leadership of Nathan Lindquist, MD, the American Neurotology Society has developed a multidisciplinary, tumor board–style webinar focused on Temporal Bone Squamous Cell Carcinoma. This collaborative program brings together experts in neurotology, neuroradiology, head and neck surgery, radiation oncology, and medical oncology to discuss diagnosis, surgical management, reconstruction, oncologic therapy, and rehabilitation. This webinar is presented in partnership with the American Head and Neck Society and the North American Skull Base Society.
